OMEGA OIL COMPLEX  HEALTH RECIPE

HEALTH BENEFITS FROM ADDING OMEGA OILS TO DIET

The right kind of fats are essential to health. This oil complex will provide Omega 3 and 6 fatty acids Alpha-linolenic acid which is converted to EPA and DHA. It has had vitamins E and C added to it

Omega Oils are required to produce beneficial Prostaglandins E1 and E3 (Good eicosanoides)

Role of PROSTAGLANDINS E 1 AND E3

  • These short lived hormones are produced directly in tissue as required
  • Play a role in controlling a number of metabolic processes
  • Controls the routing of nerve impulses through nerve paths.
  • Helps release of chemical messengers

BASIC LASSIE RECIPE

This recipe is the basis for all the other variations. It may be taken instead of breakfast providing for a slow and steady release of energy through till lunch time. We also recommend a topping of freshly ground cinnamon which helps modulate insulin levels along with a tablespoon of freshly ground flaxseeds. These must be ground daily to stop the oxidation of biologically sensitive oils.

INGREDIENTS per serving

One tablespoon of Hira Omega  Oil Complex

Half a cup of yoghurt,

1dessertspoon of cottage cheese( sulphur based protein)

Half a cup of  fruit pulp (passionfruit, mango, apricot, feijoa etc)

Half a banana

1 tsp of Spirulina ( suitable for thyroid problems)

Blend using one of those simple handheld  blenders.

HIRA OXY-ENERGY LASSIE

For additional energy, increased oxygen levels take one hour before exercise. Note due to the rosemary should not be taken in conjunction with blood pressure medication

To the above add

1 tsp spirulina

2.5ml gingko tincture

2.5 ml rosemary tincture

2.5ml yarrow tincture

top with a sprinkling of cinnamon (improves insulin/sugar/ glycogen cycle)

An Ayurvedic remedy with aphrodisiac effects to help with impotence Ashwagandha acts on the nervous, reproductive and circulatory systems.

To the above add

3.5 ml Ashwagandha tincture

2ml Gingko tincture

pinch of turmeric and a few strands of saffron

 HIRA HORMONE LASSIE

Suitable for those women suffering from PMT, menopause  and symptoms of oestrogen- dominance To be effective this lassie needs to be taken daily for at least 2-3 months.

2.5 ml Vitex agnes. Acts on luteinising hormone which helps stimulate progesterone

2.5ml  St John’s Wort tincture (optional. This is best given on a daily basis for it to have the full seratonic effects)

1 tsp of soy milk powder

1 tsp of freshly ground flaxseeds with some cinnamon bark.

Suitable for those people that are overly wound-up and in need of relaxing. The milk content will help with the production of natural tryptophane. The herbs will act as muscle relaxants and will modify the stress response.

To the above add

2.5ml Hira Calm Valerian

2.5 ml Chamomile Calm

Suitable for children suffering from hyperactivity, allergic skin reactions,

To the above add

1tsp spirulina

1ml chamomile calm

1gm of stevia
